About Our Owners

Kevin and Amie Reinert are the rare Cary natives you have probably heard about.  Born and raised in Cary and attending the same schools from Adams Elementary through Cary High School. While the two were part of the same friend group, the romantic connection wasn’t made until after Amie returned to the area from ECU with a degree in business marketing.

While she was away at college at East Carolina University, Kevin forged his path in the construction and remodeling market space. He was working with an office renovation company when he realized two important things.

  1. He never wanted to work in a cubicle.
  2. He didn’t want a life on the road.

With stability and entrepreneurship in mind, Kevin began a deck-building business that was a pre-cursor to the home-building business he and Amie would begin shortly after their wedding.

As their family grew and their business shifted from building to restoration, their commitment to their community remained constant.

“I am really proud of what we’ve built here. Not just the business, but the atmosphere and the team, we really are like a family,” Amie says.

If you visit the newly renovated office, you’ll see immediately what she means.

As you walk in the door, Banks the Border Collie will greet you and saunter over, hoping for a pat on the head. The office halls, bright with photos and artwork, lead you directly to a full kitchen where the team is occasionally treated to ‘home-made’ breakfasts or holiday celebration feasts. Beyond the office walls, their social media pages often celebrate individual employees or share photos from the latest team-building activity.

“No work is without stress, but we want our employees to want to come to work. That’s the culture we hope we’ve built, that this is somewhere where people are happy to work,” Kevin says.

In addition to the community within PRS, Kevin and Amie are dedicated to their larger professional community. For the second time, Kevin was recently named president of the Mid-South Professional Cleaners Association, a non-profit association of specialists dedicated to providing high quality cleaning and restoration services. This association includes leaders of the industry from North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, West Virginia and Tennessee.

Most importantly, Kevin and Amie are committed wholly to their family and to their North Carolina home. From supporting their own children’s schools, to supporting scholarships and teacher-of-the-year initiatives, and from sponsoring and coaching local teams to taking part in as many charity events and golf tournaments as they can, Kevin and Amie passionately support their community.

Apex, Cary, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina and the surrounding areas have gifted them with their livelihood and with each other.

It is their professional goal and personal mission to give back to the community that gave them so much.
