Fire Damage Homes in Wake County NC

February 2015 has been very cold here in Cary NC lately. Some people are using unconventional heating methods and space heaters trying to stay warm during this record cold. Wake County has not seemed record-breaking temperatures like this since the 1970s.

February 20, 2015, there was a fire in Durham on Pershing Street. In this particular case, the residents were attempting to thaw frozen pipes with a propane heater, which ignited combustible material.
