June 1 – November 30 is “hurricane season” when people in North Carolina are most at risk for experiencing a hurricane or tropical storm.
It is rare for a hurricane to make its way inland as far as Raleigh, although occasionally a tropical depression, tropical storm, or strong winds from a hurricane do affect residents in Raleigh and surrounding areas. One such hurricane which damaged homes in Raleigh was Hurricane Fran.
Winds from hurricanes are different than your average winds. They can be sustained, change direction, cause damage themselves, or damage can come from fallen tree limbs or flying debris.
We have repaired and done restorations on homes with wind damage in Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Apex & Holly Springs. If you have wind damage to your Raleigh area home please feel free to call us now or visit our comprehensive page on wind damage.
